1. An Amazon Rainforest Tribe Eats Their Dead…
The Wari’, also known as the Pakaa Nova, are indigenous people of Brazil, living in the Amazon rainforest in the state of Rondônia. They practiced endocannibalism, eating the flesh of their dead, in order to show respect to their deceased people.
Right after death, the closest relatives would hug and embrace the deceased person. The body would be left for about three days or so until other relatives from distant areas could get to the funeral. By the time all relatives had arrived, the body begun to decompose: bloated and discolored.
After relatives and messengers had gotten back, mortuary preparation must be done. It usually involves ritual lament and other weird ceremonies such as building a fire, removing the visceral organs, and finally roasting the body. The closest family members of the dead would not consume the body but urged the attendant relatives to do so. Eating the flesh would alleviate the sorrow of the family; given the ceremony helps keep the soul of the dead in the living body of relatives instead of being abandoned in the forest.
The good news after intense critics and oppositions, Wari’ no longer practices endocannibalism or any form of cannibalism. They bury their dead after two or three days of mourning.

3. An Entire Town in Germany Committed Suicide
In the town of Demmin, Germany, 100s of people committed suicide simultaneously (mass suicide) following the news of the arrival of the Soviet Red Army. The same army had sacked the town the day before and committed monstrous actions against the inhabitants…
On May 1, 1945, the people got panicked and took their own life. Although the estimation of death toll varies, it is recorded as the largest mass suicide ever occurs in Germany. The incident was part of a mass suicide wave among the population of Nazi Germany.
Nazi officials, the police, the Wehrmacht and a number of citizens had left the town before the arrival of the Red Army, while thousands of refugees from the East had also taken refuge in Demmin. Three Soviet negotiators were shot prior to the Soviet advance into Demmin and Hitler Youth, amongst others, fired on Soviet soldiers once inside the town.
As retaliation, the Soviet units looted and burned down the town, and committed rapes and executions. It was a horrible bloody event. Thousands of people were torture and killed.
To escape a painful death, some committed suicide, using different methods: drowning in the rivers, hanging, wrist-cutting, using firearms, and others. “Most bodies were buried in mass graves…
4 – 16% of Cell Phones Have Poop on Them
You love your cell phone; don’t you? You enjoy using it, putting in your mouth, right? You will wish you did not learn this. 16% of cell phones have poop on them, according to a study by London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
A group of researchers took 780 swab samples in 12 U.K. cities, to be analyzed: 390 from mobile phones and 390 from the hands of the users. The results? 16% of both hands and phones were contaminated with E. coli, a type of bacteria that lives in your intestines.
The only way you get tested positive for E. coli infection is by coming into contact with feces, humans or animals; there is no other way. There is no doubt most people don’t not wash their hands after using the toilet.
The sad news, people can spread the fecal bacteria not only to their phones, but also to everyone or everything they touch. E. coli can survive on hands and other surfaces for hours, especially in humid or/and warm conditions.
5 – More than 4% of Death Row Victims Are Innocent
Imagine yourself charged and sentence to death for a crime you did not commit. This is the case of more than 4% death row inmates in the United States, a recent study reveals.
A team of legal experts and statisticians from Michigan and Pennsylvania conducted the research to determine how often States wrongly sentence innocent people to capital punishment. The results of the study released last year, 2014; at least 4.1% of inmates on death row in the US in the modern era are innocent.
Can you imagine that? 4.1% death penalty sentences are wrong. The experts come with this percentage after analyzing the statistics of more than 8,000 men and women who have been put on death row since the 1970s. They were shocked to discover how many were falsely convicted. The same study shows that more than 200 prisoners still in the system may be innocent.
Samuel Gross, a law professor at the University of Michigan law school, states, “This is a disturbing finding… There are a large number of people who are sentenced to death, and despite our best efforts some of them have undoubtedly been executed.”
6 – Over 200 Corpses on Mt. Everest
Mount Everest is one of the most notorious places on earth, but very few people know the place is also an “open cemetery. There is an area above 26,000 feet called “the Death Zone” that has already caused the death of more than 200 climbers. The bodies remain there.

Another contest of “decapitation of 100 people” was a form of execution practiced in wartime as a “competition” between two officers of the Japanese Imperial Army during the Japanese invasion of China, during which they would have executed 100 people each with their sword.
The two officers were later arrested and executed for war crimes. Since then, the historicity of the event was greatly disputed, often by nationalist historians or Japanese revisionists seeking to invalidate the historiography of the massacre. The original diary described the murders as they fight hand to hand, but historians suggest that the victims were no longer part of the mass killings of defenseless prisoners.

9. Haitian Voodoo Priests Raise and Torture Deads.
Most of all believe that when someone is dead it is over with him, but you may be wrong. In Haiti, some voodoo priests, commonly called “malfaiteurs” (which means wrongdoers) use black magi to mystically kill people or transform them into Zombie.
They can do so following a dispute with the victim, or someone else pays them to commit the crime. The sad part, the zombies are not naturally dead; they can feel, hear everything, but can’t wake up. Very few (<10,000) who come back to normal life say they hear their love ones crying, talking…, but unable to move.
Here is the dark and sinister part…
After the burial, the killer (malfaiteur), along with 1 or 2 associates, goes to the tomb and raises the dead (zombie). They start beating and torturing him from the moment he’s out of the tomb. Sometimes family members can hear the victim crying, but by the time they go out, zombie and ‘malfaiteurs’ disappear.
Walking on nails is a common form of tortures that the very few zombies who come back to normal claim they experienced. They implant the nails on wood boards and force the victims to walk on them. Feeling the pain, the zombie can moan and beg for release but cannot escape or disobey.

10. The Bhopal Disaster
The Bhopal disaster occurred on the night of December 3, 1984, at the Union Carbide India Limited (UCIL) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It is the result of an explosion of the pesticide-producing plant which generated 40 tones of Methyl isocyanate (MIC) in the atmosphere of Bhopal.
Soon after the incident, official had estimated the gas leak incident killed 3828 individuals; this statement has been revised in 1989 to 3598 dead, and then to 7575 in 1995. However, other world associations conclude The Bhopal disaster kills between 20 000 and 25 000. There would have been 3500 dead the first night and a large number thereafter: half in the first few weeks and the other half of diseases caused by gas exposure.
In 2010, in a Washington Post article devoted to industrial disasters, including the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, the journalist Paul Farhi suggests an estimation of “at least 12 000 deaths” caused by the Bhopal disaster. This number does not include more than 300,000 people who became sick because of the disaster.
